  please, anyone broken their children's heart over the wtbts?

  i've been away from meetings for quite a wwhile now and have finally had to face the fact that i am responsible for my childrens 'lost' looks lately.

  i've tried to sow a few little gentle doubts to ease them into the thought that were not going to meetings as 'the org may have got some things muddled up'.but its so strange to find yourself in this position; the worst is seeing their little faces as you struggle to find the right words that won't upset them.

  thank you all so much; it's so lovely to hear you've come out the other side. I think theyre such loving kids they would never dream of shunning anyone and can't understand others who do .so sad. But perhaps a blessing in disguise.the questions just jump up and bite you sometimes...and i hav'nt prepared for them blah,blah...i,ll go to randy,s site now. thankyou, you being here when i reach desperation point is worth more to me than you can imagine.love to you allxxx

  WTS Plan to Improve Stats

  it looks like the wts finally put 2 and 2 together on the us branchs failing statistics over the past few years, particularly the years 97 - 01. what happened?.

  in the latter part of 1996 cos instructed elders that congregation bookstudy conductors (soon to be officially called "congregation bookstudy overseers) should not initially ask congregation publishers for their field service time reports.

  instead, each congregation should have a small box so that publishers could "shoulder their own responsibility by turning in time of their own accord," by voluntarily putting their report slip into this box.

  THANK YOU FOR TRYING TO HELP. WE DO LOADS AND THEY (i'm in caps again ar,nt i?!) have always had many non jw friends etc .its got to the stage now where they don,t see jw friends as i,m not considered a good bet with all my doubts... never see them unless i make an effort to go and call; bad atmosphere etc. its a hard thing to explain is,nt it to kids_; the ins and outs of being on the good assoc. list!it,s mainly having to cope with de programming all the crap i taught them

  please, anyone broken their children's heart over the wtbts? i've been away from meetings for quite a wwhile now and have finally had to face the fact that i am responsible for my childrens 'lost' looks lately. i've tried to sow a few little gentle doubts to ease them into the thought that were not going to meetings as 'the org may have got some things muddled up'.But its so strange to find yourself in this position; the worst is seeing their little faces as you struggle to find the right words that won't upset them. but to be honest i feel like a shunning dub in reverse. they love their little friends. i,ve got to do this right. they could end up crushed. i,m trying to go slowly but the questions are coming so fast,this is the crappiest thing i have ever done; any psycologists out their? we only ever went to meetings when they wanted to; and always left when they had enough; so no bad memories for them as i have...i'm off to cornwall on holiday soon,lots of walking and time for them, it should be a beautiful time and maybe a good opp. to ease the pain.help????

  we are not jehovah's witnesses because of a variety of circumstances, but one thing we all share is that we question.. what factors come together to make us questioners?.

  but i know a lot of very smart non-questioning jehovah's witnesses.. bravery?

  why some question and others don't ? I think everyone questions, but most choose to ignore their own doubts in favour of 'religious unity'.It's a false self deluding fantasy of unity that they need SO badly to help them to cling to the belief that they are God's org.So many witnesses that i have ever had deep honest conversations with have told me so many doubts (some i had'nt even thought of and merely added to my own doubts that i'd found 'it')there are so many out there ignoring so much. Me, well i was finding it so hard to believe the HYPOCRACY in the cong i went to; and when the probs were swept under the carpet again and my integrity crapped on i decided to sod off and so i did. and here i am .Perhaps we're the ones who were told to question and took it LITERALLY!!!!!!!!!

  Thankyou so much for the extra articles.I have been plagued with ass wiping problems for so long, not any more;i have read and reread these in my bathroom and will continue to refer to them in times of rectal confusion. Food at the proper time indeed.

  Making our own underground news / media

  is there any way in which anyone of us could organise our own amatuer media outfit, to seek interviews with the wt hq's.

  the teams could be made up of one interviewer, one camerawo/man and another to keep exact notes of the proceedings.. with broadband width now having been introduced, how can we avail these resources to our advantage in manipulation of media interest upon the wt, how can we create stories for ourselves, without deviating from the truth of our objectives?.

  are there any more quite radical action risk takers within the community here?.

  Nice idea Celtic, but i don't know if it would work as from my experience over the last few weeks; they tend to shut down and retreat when feeling under pressure. Like getting blood out of a witness, it was.I wonder if more effective advertising of this site would'nt go amiss...perhaps an effort to make internet sites less apostate sounding and work more on peer pressure e.g. Information is the right ALL dubs shouldaspire to and not something to be banned by the society or parents.After all theres alot of info in the mags so its not exactly an alien concept is it ? An internet ad campaign to hit all relevant sites maybe.. p.s. it.s my birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
